Knee taps 1010005

Knee taps are used to drill holes in the condylus lateralis for implantation of resolvable screws. The advantage of these knee taps is that its application requires only a very small incission which reduces scar tissue formation and the risk of infection.

The longitudinal canal through allows the taps to be guided over a K-wire.

“ten Broeke” retention hole drill 1010006

The retention hole drill is used for drilling holes in the acetabulum as a preparation for total hip prothesis. Its key feature is the elongated shaft, which enables full view of the operation site. Due to the unique cutting edges the drill has full grip in any position during the procedure. This feature minimizes sliding thee drill head.

The drill has a main head with three cutting edges (standard 6mm diameter other sizes are optional) and a narrow centering head (3mm diameter). The driull is equipped with a stop at 12 mm, and has grooves for removal of material. The drill fits with both Jabobs claw and Hudson connectors.

Bone Cement Pounders 1010016


Cement Pounders for the dosed injection of two component bone cement between te vertebrae in the discuss intervertebralis.

The sets are for single use. The chemical reaction between the two components produces heat. Therefore, the cement pounders are made of stainless steel.

Micro Tube Disectomy Set 1019906

Surgical tools for treatment of lumbal hernias. Application requires an incision of 12 mm. The tubes of increasing sizes fit exactly over each other. The First long and narrow tube is guided over a K-wire towards the hernia. The wide lumen of the last tube offers sufficient space for the surgical approach of the hernia.

A complete set includes 1 K-wire, 4 preperation tubes, and three end tubes. The final tubes. Or working cannulas are equipped with a handle for fixation in an octopus arm, and for easy removal. All tubes have been grinded at an angle of 15°.
