About the Comfort Board

An interesting invention in the field of trauma is the Comfort Board.

The Comfort Board represents a new concept, developed in cooperation with the Maastricht University Medical Center (MUMC+). The Comfort Board offers a solution for the disadvantages related to the current spinal boards. The latter boards are made only of a hard plastic material leading to huge discomfort and pressure ulcer for patients.
